About Us

THIS WEBSITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!

Welcome to Lake Sarah Productions LLC, a veteran-owned Minnesota business dabbling in storytelling and book publishing.

These pages share the inspiration we get from Lake Sarah and the surrounding areas, including the fish and wildlife, local and migratory birds, flower and vegetable gardens.

We started with one of our spectacular sunsets, let’s continue with the heavens above.

The western sky also provides rare celestrial events like comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS looping around our sun in October 2024.

And, as many of you hopefully observed in May 2024, the Aurora Borealis provided an amazing display of colors that lasted well into the night.

Gardens

Several gardens surround our Lake Sarah Life. Most prominent is our water feature garden, inhabited over the past few years by several dozen goldfish (yes they’ve been with us for years now and over-winter in the pond). We also have frogs that sing to us, and (not long ago) we chased a river otter away.

Our other gardens include a small grape vineyard, a berm of shrubs and a berm of Korean lilacs, an orchard of cherry, pear, plum and apple trees; and also a large vegetable garden.

We also reserve nearly two acres of trees, scrub brush and wetlands, home to several dozen bird species including songbirds, raptors, waterfowl and migratory visitors.

Our lawn and gardens are chemical-free.
